About APWS

Created in 2005, the annual Angkor Photo Workshops is a free, high-quality, professional photography workshop held in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Since its inception, more than 200 photographers from all over Asia have participated in the workshops, which is conducted by international professional photographers who volunteer their time.

Aimed at talented and upcoming Asian photographers, the free workshops provides participants with firsthand training, invaluable exposure, and a chance to develop their personal photographic style and vision. Over the years, the workshop has highlighted emerging talent from the region, and many previous participants go on to embark on successful photography careers.

As always, the work of all workshop participants is presented at the evening slideshow program on the last day of the Angkor Photo Festival.
